You can complete part one as many times as you wish to receive feedback on how you are doing and suggestions for improvement. This will not affect whether you achieve bronze, silver or gold level unless you tick the final submission box. You should submit your final progress review between April and May every year.
When you are ready to submit your final version of part one, make sure you tick the final submission box.

Welcome to the Green Procurement Code progress review
The progress review helps you to measure your success in reducing the environmental impact of your business through green purchasing. It covers all aspects of green procurement, from policy to results.
The results of the progress review will determine whether you are at bronze, silver or gold level of the Green Procurement Code. The progress review is split into two parts. You must complete both parts and submit your final results between April and May each year.
Part 1
This is designed to support an audit of your sustainable supply chain practice. It is designed for people with some expertise in sustainable procurement and some experience in assurance techniques. It requires a high knowledge of your operation and organisation and can be used to support interviews or workshops where a wide variety of people would contribute. The tool is based on self-assessment and requires a degree of judgement to score each question. Used in a well facilitated workshop, it should take about 2 hours to complete.
